With great sadness, we report the death of Pro Wheelchair Bodybuilder, Colt Wynn.
Born in Fleming, Ohio, USA, on May 23, 1986, Colt passed away at the young age of 38 on August 27, 2024.
At the time of publishing this article, the cause of death is still unknown.
Colt was a very popular Wheelchair Bodybuilder in the early 2000s, having a very successful bodybuilding career within the NPC.
In 2007, Colt earned his IFBB Professional Card by winning the IFBB Pro Wheelchair National overall title.
Colt suffered a serious back injury in November 1999, when he fell 14 feet from a deer hunting stand in a tree near his family home.
The fall broke Colt’s back, leaving him paralyzed. During his time in the hospital, Colt lost substantial weight and turned to weight lifting to gain strength in his upper body, which led him to have a successful bodybuilding career.
Within three years of his accident, Colt competed in his first bodybuilding event.
Colt was also a motivational speaker, touring the United States and Canada, encouraging people to never give up.
