Brazilian bodybuilding star, Rafael Brandao, is back for the 2024 bodybuilding competitive season.
Rafael has been invited to compete at the 2024 Arnold Classic USA, and he’s expected to achieve a very good result at this event.
Training under the watchful eye of Neil Hill, Rafael is expected to go far in 2024, starting his adventure at the 2024 Arnold Classic.
The event in Ohio will not be an easy task for Brandao, as he will have to compete against some of the top athletes in the world, such as Samson Dauda, Andrew Jacked, and possibly Hadi Choopan.
Taking the entire 2023 season off to improve his physique, it’s evident that Brandon’s time away from competition helped his physique improve.
In the last few weeks, Rafael published several physique updates on his social media pages, and it cannot be denied that he has improved.
Rafael is a regular top-five finisher, and he has two pro victories under his belt, winning in Romania in 2021 and the Arnold Classic South America in 2022.
At his last Mr. Olympia in 2022, Rafael finished in tenth place, but some bodybuilding pundits believed he should have placed higher.
Rafael has one of the most balanced physiques in the bodybuilding world. Rafael presents an incredible combination of size, balance, and condition. With the improvements that he made during 2023, we can expect more from Rafael, and he will earn his 2024 Mr. qualification sometime during the year.
If Rafael places in the top five at the 2024 Arnold Classic, this will be a very good indication of the success we can expect him to have in 2024.
The judging at the Mr. Olympia has shifted from awarding mass monsters to preferring the more aesthetic and balanced physique.
With the Mr. Olympia looking to be moving in a new direction in regards to judging, Rafael will have a very good chance to place higher than tenth, and hopefully crack the top five.
