Results: 2022 IFBB Malta International GP & IFBB Elite Pro show.
The 2022 IFBB Malta International GP and IFBB Elite Pro show took place between 10-11 September 2022, at the Corinthia Hotel, St. George’s Bay, St. Julians, Malta.
Malta has become a prime location for a number of top amateur and pro bodybuilding and fitness events, throughout the years.
IFBB Malta President and EBFF General Secretary, Ralph Decelis, put Malta on the map as a prime location for prestigious bodybuilding events, such as this one.
With the chance of earning their pro status within the IFBB Elite Pro League, a good number of athletes made the trip to sunny Malta for this exciting event.
Some of the highest ranking amateur and pro athletes within the IFBB and IFBB Elite Pro participated in this event.
The IFBB Elite Pro event consisted of two divisions, Masters Bikini and Bodyfitness.
One of the most consistent pro bikini athletes, Karina Gavrikova won the Masters Bikini event. Karina has also won the Masters World Championship.
The pro bodyfitness title went to Italy’s Luigia Baggetta.
The majority of athletes that competed at the IFBB Malta International GP, went on to compete at the 2022 Arnold Classic Europe.
The next big event in Malta will be the 2022 Mediterranean Championships, 12-13 November, 2022.
