2019 IFBB European Championships – Day 2

RESULTS & PHOTOS: 2019 IFBB European Championships – Day 2.

The action continues at the 2019 IFBB European Bodybuilding & Fitness Championships on the second day of competition.

The day continued with Women Wellness Fitness, Wheelchair Bodybuilding, Junior Men & Women’s Fitness, Master Men Bodybuilding and Men’s Physique.

Again, the level of competition was very high with all the athletes looking perfect.

The Master Men Bodybuilding was a great show with all the athletes showing that age is truly just a number. A majority of the competitors could easily compete with athletes half their age.

The Women Wellness Fitness category has become of the favorite categories at the European Championships. These women looked fantastic, surely giving the judges a hard time to pick the winners.

As with the Women Wellness Fitness category, the Men’s Physique was another great show. The athletes looked as they were chiseled from stone.

Surprises occur at every big competition and this years Men’s Physique was no exception. Spain’s Sidy Pouye was the overall Men’s Physique winner at the 2019 Diamond Cup Malta, earning his IFBB Elite a few weeks earlier Pro card just a few weeks earlier. Sidy decided to put his pro status on hold to try to win the overall at the 2019 IFBB European Championships. It looked as Sidy was on his way to win his class, but he ended up missing his chance to compete in the overall finals after placing second to Yevgeniy Nikitenko from the Ukraine. The overall title ended up going to Erik Ha from Norway.
