The excitement continued on the second day of competition at the 2019 IFBB world Master Championships in Tarragona, Spain.

The second day had athletes from the bodybuilding and women’s bikini compete for the prestigious title of IFBB World Master Champion.

The Men’s IFBB Elite Pro Master Bodybuilding contest also took place at the end of the amateur competitions.

The level of competition impressed the athletes, fans and even the IFBB deligates.

With over 400 athletes registering for this contest, this is proof that bodybuilding and fitness athletes still have the desire to compete at the highest level after the age of 35.

One of the highlights of the day was 83 year old Toshisuke Kanazawa from Japan competing at the event in the Men’s Master Bodybuilding over 55 years category.

Toshisuke performed a fantastic posing routine, showing that even at 83, he can still enjoy the sport of bodybuilding.

As head judge Pawel Filleborn said to the athletes, it is a great shame they can only award the top six in each category as all athletes presented fantastic physiques.
