Results & Photos: 2022 Arnold Classic South America.
Rafael Brandao was a clear favorite going into the Arnold Classic South America, and he proved that he was the best as he took home the top prize.
Leading up to the event, Evolutionofbodybuilding.net published an article, criticizing the way the promotion was handled and the fact that no major websites promoted this event.
Finally, a few days before the event, a final competitors list was published with nine athletes confirmed for the event., but 12 stepped on the stage.
South Africa’s Sibusiso Kotelo had an interesting weekend. Sources close to this site allege that Sibusiso arrived late for pre-judging, but competed in the finals. Unfortunately he was not scored for this event.
The contest was an exciting event, with Rafael Brandao occupying the center of the stage for the majority of the time.
The main comparisons were between Rafael, Vitor Hugo Boff and Thiago Lins Adao, all athletes representing Brazil.
Rafael did not have to worry about Olympia qualification as he already had that secured after winning the 2021 Romanian Muscle Fest.
Many questions have been about why no other professional divisions were organized to compete at this event. It seems strange that an event such as the Arnold Classic South America only organized bodybuilding as the only main event.
The expo had a great turnout, proving that the South American’s love the sport of bodybuilding and fitness.
