Results & Photos: 2022 Texas Pro – Day 1.

The results are in for the first day of events at the 2022 Texas Pro.

The first day of events had competitors from 212 Bodybuilding, Classic Physique, Men’s Physique, Bikini, Figure, Women’s Physique and Wellness competing to win the prestigious invitation to compete at Olympia Weekend in December.

Focussing on bodybuilding, Kerrith Bajjo went one better this week as he won the 212 Bodybuilding event, defeating a deep line-up of 17 top athletes.

Last weekend at the Tampa Pro, Keone Pearson edged past Kerrith to take the top prize. With this victory, Kerrith has guaranteed his place at the 2022 Olympia Weekend.

Canada’s Cody Drobot had to settle for second, after giving Kerrith a great battle till the end. Cody is bigger than Kerrith, and it was very noticeable when the two athletes stood next to each other.

The judges had a very difficult decision to make between Kerrith and Cody, but at the end it would be Kerrith who walked away with the top prize.

Third place went to Jordan Janowitz. This was a fair decision from the judges as Jordan was defeated on condition, compared to Kerrith and Cody.

In the Men’s Classic Physique event, Courage Opara won his second consecutive event of the year. After taking victory at the 2022 Tampa Pro last weekend, Courage continued his dominant for at the Texas Pro this weekend.

With two impressive victories under his belt, Courage will be a threat to defending Classic Physique Olympia winner Chris Bumstead.

Second place went to Valentin Petrov while Jorge Luis Guerrero Gallegos took the bronze medal home.
