In this discussion, Shawn and Kevin discuss all the events related to the killing of George Floyd.

Shawn and Kevin stated very valid points throughout the discussion.

The killing of George Floyd is a subject that has opened up a lot of wounds and Shawn has always been vocal about this subject.

Shawn, throughout his life has been very vocal about situations like this and he is correct in what he says.

Evolutionofbodybuilding.net believes that these senseless murders are just putting the world in a darker place.

As the world united during this horrible coronavirus threat, these actions by the law enforcement in the USA has just destroyed not only their country but the entire world.

George was not dangerous and he was not a threat. The police officer, Derek Chauvin had no reason whatsoever to do what he did.

Protests are 100% acceptable, it is your right to protest such a horrible crime. Destroying property and hurting your fellow neighbor is not acceptable.

Editorial Note:

I grew up with and went through all my school years with friends from every part of the world.

No color or religion ever affected me. There are great people from every race and there are bad people. That is life in general.

What happened last week in Minnesota was disgusting.

That is what makes the sport of bodybuilding so great. Race and religion does not exist.

Everybody is treated equally.

If you follow Shawn, he has been very vocal about this subject throughout his life… but he is right.

These are the last words of George Floyd, a 46-year-old man who died as a US police officer pinned him down, kneeling on his neck for almost nine minutes:

“It’s my face man
I didn’t do nothing serious man
please
please
please I can’t breathe
please man
please somebody
please man
I can’t breathe
I can’t breathe
please
(inaudible)
man can’t breathe, my face
just get up
I can’t breathe
please, a knee on my neck
I can’t breathe
shit
I will
I can’t move
mama
mama
I can’t
my knee
my neck
I’m through
I’m through
I’m claustrophobic
my stomach hurt
my neck hurts
everything hurts
some water or something
please
please
I can’t breathe officer
don’t kill me
they’re gonna kill me, man
come on man
I cannot breathe
I cannot breathe
they’re gonna kill me
they’re gonna kill me
I can’t breathe
I can’t breathe
please sir
please
please
please I can’t breathe”

Then, his eyes shut and the pleas stop. George Floyd was pronounced dead shortly after.
