2021 Texas Pro Day 2: Iain Valliere makes it two in a row.
The 2021 Texas Pro turned out to be one of the best competitions of the season. Iain Valliere finished on top after a exciting battle against Steve Kuclo.
Iain Valliere and Steve Kuclo battled to the end after they were continuously put side bny side by the head judge.
There were some moments during the event that Steve actually looked as he would take the show.
Given center stage on a number of occasions, it was surely looking to go in Steve’s favor, but after the smoked cleared it would be Iain taking home the top prize.
When Iain and Steve started to be compared side by side, it started to be evident that Iain had the advantage.
During the side chest pose, there was not much difference in the upper body when compared, but when looking at their lower body, Iain displayed much better leg development.
The back double biceps went to Iain as well, when compared to Steve. Between the top three, Phillip Clahar had the best back definition.
The back lat spread was definitely won by Phillip, but Iain had much more thickness.
This is Iain’s second consecutive victory after winning in Tampa just last weekend.
The judging on the night was spot on, congratulations to the judges.
Turning our focus to the 212 Division, Ahmed Elsadany won the top prize and earned his ticket to the 2021 Olympia Weekend.
Already close to qualifying on points, Ahmed can now focus on the Olympia knowing he earned his spot.
Second place went to Austin Karr while Martin Gomez had to settle for third.
The highlight of the evening was Guy Cisternino announcing his retirement. After having such a great career, Guy decided to end it at the Texas Pro. It was a very difficult week for Guy after he lost his mentor and coach, John Meadows.
Evolutionofbodybuilding.net will be publishing a special feature dedicated to Guy Cisternino in the coming days.
