The United Power Games – A new super event in the making.
The IFBB have always been the leaders in new events consisting of bodybuilding and fitness.
The IFBB have now embarked on a new project that involves a number of popular sport disciplines.
Representatives from five international federations consisting of Bodybuilding and Fitness, Weightlifting, Powerlifting, Arm wrestling and Tug of War, all involved in the preparation for the new event called The United Power Games.
The representatives gathered in Santa Susanna (Barcelona, Spain) between the 23 and 24 September 2019.
The main theme of the technical meetings included discussions about the specific location of the event, the number of participants per discipline, financing and promotion of this new multi-sport competition were discussed.
This has been the second time in which the games founding members met to discuss this new event. The first meeting was held in Madrid last June. The discussions about this new project is moving at a fast pace.
The event will most probably be held in Santa Susanna (Barcelona, Spain).
This event is a great opportunity for the top amateur athletes in all disciplines to compete in competitions that give them great exposure all over the world.
