78 Pro cards earned at the 2018 NPC National Championships

78 Pro cards earned at the 2018 NPC National Championships.

The 2018 NPC National Championships took place this weekend (16-17 November 2018).

Hundreds of the best amateurs in the USA made the trip to Miami to compete in the most prestigious event on the NPC calendar.

Over 790 competitors entered the event with 78 pro cards being won. In 2017, 898 competed in the event and 71 Pro cards were awarded.

The highlight of the event was Hunter Labrada winning the bodybuilding overall title. Labrada, the son of the legendary Lee Labrada was a favorite going into this show.

In 1985 Hunter’s father Lee Labrada earned his Pro card, 33 years ago. Hopefully in the near future we can see a historical battle on stage between Hunter and Sergio Oliva’s son Sergio Oliva Jr.
