Bodybuilding world shocked with the sudden death of John Meadows.
The bodybuilding and fitness is devastated after hearing the news about the sudden death of pro bodybuilder and trainer John Meadows.
According to sources close to Evolutionofbodybuilding.net, John aka “Mountain Dog” passed away during his sleep after suffering a Pulmonary Embolism. He was 49 years old. John was born on 11 April, 1972.
In May 2020, John almost died after he suffered a major heart attack, but thankfully at that time, John managed to make a full recovery.
Unfortunately, approximately 14 months later, destiny took a different turn for the much loved John Meadows.
Competing for almost just over 20 years, John did not turn pro immediately, he fought hard from 1997 to finally earn his pro card in 2015.
As the years went by, John continued to face new adversities in his life. During his early days in bodybuilding, John suffered from a rare colon disease.
After fighting the disease for several months, his colon burst – almost resulting in his death. Luckily, John was quickly rushed to an emergency room where his life was saved. After several months of recovery, John was finally back on his feet.
Meadows competed as a pro from another two years, until he decided to retire as a pro bodybuilder is 2017.
John then focused on training athletes, a decision that would earn him great success. Meadows became a household name for pro and amateur bodybuilders. A number of the top stars looked up to John.
John loved life, he loved spending time with his family and also he loved collecting comic books with his twin sons.
