2021 Arnold Classic UK: Nathan De Asha wins on home turf
Nathan De Asha predicted he would win the 2021 Arnold Classic UK, and he did just that.
The first edition of the Arnold Classic UK took place in Birmingham, 1-3 October, 2021.
The event included an amateur and pro event, which was a 2022 Olympia Weekend qualifier.
The highlight of the evening was the Open bodybuilding contest. The winner would not only make history by being the first every Arnold Classic UK champion, but also they would have their 2022 Mr. Olympia qualification secured.
In the build up to the show, UK boy, Nathan De Asha was the favorite going into the event. Already qualified for the 2021 Mr. Olympia after winning the Europa Pro show, Nathan wanted to cement his status as one of the best UK bodybuilders in the history of the sport.
Nathan did not just walk in and take the title, Samson Dauda did everything he could to prevent Nathan from winning the title, but when the smoke cleared, Nathan would be the last man standing from a line up of 13 athletes.
To round of the top five, Theo Leguerrier finished in third, while Patrick Johnson and Krystian Wolski finished in fourth and fifth place respectively.
With the contest being organized just a week away from the 2021 Olympia Weekend, the majority of top stars decided not to make the trip to the UK and focus on the Olympia.
Regardless, Nathan would have still been a clear favorite to win this event.

Michael Daboul secured his 2022 Olympia Weekend qualification by winning the Classic Physique title. Unfortunately only five athletes made the line up in what was expected to be the biggest event.

The popular Ryan Terry took home the Men’s Physique title. Ryan John Baptiste and Xio Long Hong placed in second and third respectively.

Unfortunately only tow athletes competed in the popular Women’s Fitness event. An easy 2022 Olympia Weekend qualification wen to Michelle Mensah, while Kate Errington earned valuable qualification points for 2022.
