Bodybuilding world mourns the death of Eddie Giuliani
The bodybuilding world is mourning the death of bodybuilding legend Eddie Giuliani. Eddie loved by the legends of the sport, thanks to his beautiful personality.
Eddie passed away on May 1 2022, at the age of 82. The cause of death is not known.
Eddie was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, and had a long and extensive career in bodybuilding spanning over four decades. He has trained with and faced a number of champions and iconic bodybuilders.
In 1951, he began his competitive career. Over the course of his career, Giuliani has won numerous trophies and high placings, competing in more than 35 contests. He was one of the top competitors in his height category.
Eddie had a very successful bodybuilding career, that spanned from 1951 to 1982. Competing in various federations, Eddie’s most prestigious victory was in 1974, when he won the Short Class of the Mr. America. In 1975, Eddie also won the Mr. World in the Short Class category.
In 2012, Eddie was inducted into the Muscle Beach Hall of Fame. The award was presented to him by the legendary actor Al Pacino.
Legends of the sport sent their condolences via their social media pages. Athletes such as Arnold Schwarzenegger and Samir Bannout where the first to share their sorrow upon hearing the news of the death of their great friend.
