2023 Empro Pro Show – Michal Krizo conquers Spain

2023 Empro Pro Show – Michal Krizo conquers Spain.

The run up to the 2023 Olympia Weekend is heating up, with numerous pro athletes fighting to earn their qualification to the biggest event on the contest schedule.

Last weekend, the focus was on the 2023 Empro Pro Show that took place in Alicante, Spain, 17-18 June 2023.

Focusing on bodybuilding, the lineup was at a very high level, with 11 of the top pro bodybuilders, from all over Europe, participating in this event.

In the lead-up to the show, former Slovakian, Michal Krizo, and Italy’s Andrea Presti, were the favourites to win the event.

It was already evident in pre-judging, that it would be an intense battle between Michal and Andrea, for the victory, and qualification for the 2023 Mr. Olympia.

Finally, it would be Michal Krizo, who would take the top prize, and earn his second consecutive qualification to the Mr. Olympia.

Michal showed some massive improvements from his last stage appearance at the 2022 Mr. Olympia. Not having to worry about size, all the focus was on his condition. Michal showed some major improvements when performing his back poses. Michal’s fellow competitors will not have an easy time standing next to the former IFBB Elite Pro superstar.

Many are already predicting that Michal has a very good chance, of finishing in the top 10, or possibly even the top 5, at the 2023 Mr. Olympia.

Andrea Presti, still has a good chance to qualify for the 2023 Mr. Olympia. His solid second place finish at this event, should give him the right momentum to go that extra step, and go for victory at the next event he competes in.

Brazil’s Wellington Fernando Baptista had to settle for third. While Wellington had most probably the best condition when compared to all the athletes, he was lacking in size, when standing next to Andrea, and Michal. Overall, it was a fantastic result for Wellington.

Spain’s Jose Manuel Munoz had to settle for fourth, while the fan favorite from Germany, Roman Fritz finished in fifth.

The Men’s Classic Physique event was another fantastic spectacle. 20 athletes participated in this event, with the majority hailing from Europe.

As with every Men’s Classic Physique event, the level of competition will be very high, making it very difficult for the judges to pick the winner.

A big well done to all the athletes for stepping on stage in fantastic condition.

The Men’s Classic Physique events have become one of the most popular divisions in the Pro League. Focusing on the classic look, which combines condition, and symmetry, the athletes focus more on these factors, rather than size, compared to the Men’s Open, and 212 division.

Spain’s German Pastor Cueto finished in first, after a very hard-fought battle against his fellow competitors.

His perfect combination of size, condition, and balance gave him the slight edge, which in return awarded him victory, and qualification to the 2023 Olympia Weekend.

German’s compatriots, Antoine Loth, and David Martinez Campos, finished in second and third respectively.
