Ronnie Coleman back in hospital for emergency surgery

WATCH: Ronnie Coleman back in hospital for emergency surgery.

8X Mr. Olympia Ronnie Coleman is unexpectedly back in the hospital.

Coleman went to the doctor for a regular visit and to get some x-rays done.

The results of the x-rays were not positive and Ronnie was advised that he needed urgent surgery on his right hip.

While Ronnie was alone in the hospital waiting alone, he decided to keep his fans updated.

“As you can see, I’m in the hospital again,” Coleman said. “I ended up going to the doctor today, for some x-rays. X-ray didn’t turn out too good.

So they admitted me, and I’ve been here since 5 o’clock, all by myself, getting ready to do this surgery on my right hip, early in the morning. So I guess I’ll see you guys after this is all over.”

Ronnie has had surgery on numerous occasions and hopefully this will be the last one for the bodybuilding legend.
