Bodybuilding star Neil Currey dies at 34.
Devastating news has rocked the bodybuilding world on Monday, 11 September 2023. UK bodybuilding star, Neil Currey, passed away at the age of 34.
The news of Neil’s death was first revealed by Nick Trigili on his official Instagram page.
The majority of bodybuilding news media declined to reveal the cause of death, but Nick Trigili and Neil’s former coach, Milos Sarcev, revealed that it was allegedly suicide.
Neil was one of the top classic Physique competitors within the IFBB Pro League, placing in the top ten throughout his career.
Neil started his career competing withing the WBFF, but then made the switch to the NPC, and winning his pro card at the 2018 Amateur Olympia in Italy.
The highlight of Neil’s career was when he won the Men’s Classic Physique event, at the 2022 New York Pro.
As Neil started to prep for the 2023 competitive season, he switched coaches, and started to work with Ben Chow. Neil was working towards moving up to the open division.
