The 2024 Arnold Classic USA is just around the corner, and the official competitors list has been published by the IFBB Pro League.
The event will be taking place in Columbus, Ohio, USA, March 1-2, 2024.
In the months leading up to the event, several athletes have pulled out, such as Rubiel Mosquera and Andrew Jacked, but the event organizers were relieved that 2022 Mr. Olympia Hadi Choopan managed to get into the USA.
With a large prize fund available for the top placing athletes, many bodybuilding pundits were amazed that several other athletes such as Nick Walker, Sergio Oliva Jr and Hunter Labrada did not apply for an invite to the event.
The event will cater to seven pro shows, which include the following: Men’s Open Bodybuilding, Men’s Classic Physique, Men’s Physique, Men’s Wheelchair, Women’s Fitness, Women’s Bikini and Women’s Wellness. Women’s Bodybuilding, and Men’s 212 were again missing from the event list of events.
The event is still not sold out
With just a few days left before the event opens its door to the public, the event is still not sold out. VIP tickets were sold out immediately after they were made available to the public. Bodybuilding fans can still get there hands on “Reserved Floor” and “Reserved Balcony” tickets for the Friday night final events.
With such an aggressive marketing campaign by the Arnold Schwarzenegger’s company, World Championship Events Inc, A number of prominent figures within the IFBB Pro League contacted Evolutionofbodybuilding.net, expressing their shock that tickets are still available with less than two days to go before the event kicks off.
