The “Voice of Building”, Bob Cicherillo, had a lot to say about the Arnold Classic, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Arnold’s Global Executive Director, Brian Powers.
Leading up to the 2025 Arnold Classic, the bodybuilding world expected Bob Cicherillo to take his place on the stage again, doing what he does best, doing his job as the emcee of the show.
Just hours before the event, sources close to Evolutionofbodybuilding.net, shared information that Bob Cicherillo would not be emceeing the 2025 Arnold Classic.

According to inside sources at the time of publishing the article, days before the 2025 Arnold Classic started, allegedly Bob Cicherillo did not want his name or voice to be associated with this event after it was allegedly so badly run and with several people being very incompetent in 2024, when he emceed the Arnold Classic USA and UK.
Bob Cicherillo confirmed what Evolutionofbodybuilding.net reported and more on the latest episode of the Voice of Bodybuilding podcast.

Arnold Schwarzenegger takes a jab at Bob… Bob bites back.
During the Arnold Sunday Showcase, the event that took place after the 2025 Arnold Classic ended, Arnold Schwarzenegger was on stage with all the winners, and he did not waste any time to call out Bob Cicherillo indirectly.
Arnold Schwarzenegger was talking about how the 2025 Arnold Classic was perfectly organized, without any delays.
Looking towards the new emcee, David Baye, Arnold said, “I like the way you moved forward, there was not one single second of lag time.”
“For years and years, I always complained the days after the competition,” Arnold continued, “You can edit the show down to an hour and a half to two hours, why are we sitting there for three to three and a half hours?”
“Because of the stupid talking of the MC,” allegedly referring to Bob Cicherillo. “He just makes up dialogue, and now we have an emcee (David Baye), that does not do that.”
“We go right into it, we immediately see the most muscular pose, and bang we go into it and through the whole thing.”
“The guys get introduced, you know where they are coming from, end of story., I don’t want to hear more.”
“Don’t give me no drama, like yesterday they did this and that, f*** this is all bullshit.”
Arnold continued, “I want to see a bodybuilding show start at 7 pm and end at 9.30 pm, end of story, that’s what I demand every year, not three and a half hours, it’s all bogus, we don’t need to do it,” Arnold concluded.

Sources close to this site confirmed that it was Brian Powers that Bob Cicherillo clashed with at the 2024 Arnold Classic USA and UK.

Arnold forgot to mention that the shows in the past used to include many more divisions, and also the presentation of body painting by Jan Tana, the balancing act show from Vegas, the Strongman event, and much more. These all contributed in lasting over three hours.
Bob Cicherillo is not to blame for the length of the event, but Arnold himself is to blame, as he is the promoter of the Arnold Classic.
Plus, Cicherillo is an expert at improvising when things start to go wrong, and he has to keep the audience entertained. If something happens backstage, or there is some kind of delay, Bob is the man to turn to.
Arnold showed a great lack of respect towards Bob Cicherillo, and he should apologise. Bob had every right to protect his reputation, even if it means calling out the greatest bodybuilder that the sport has ever known.
When Brian Powers came into the picture, he immediately removed certain events, which made the duration of the show shorter.
In regards to the disorganization of the event, that is something Bob Cicherillo explains in his video.
If Arnold wanted to know what happened, he could have easily reached out to Bob Cicherillo, and he would have no problem explaining what really happened during the events.
It’s on record that Brian Powers allegedly treats people with an “Iron Fist”, but as this would work with a new employee, it will not work with the veterans of the sport, that Brian himself should show the utmost respect for.
