2025 IFBB World Bodybuilding Championships dates confirmed
The IFBB has announced that the IFBB World Bodybuilding Championships & IFBB Annual Congress are heading to Khobar, Saudi Arabia from Nov 27 – Dec 1, 2025.
The IFBB will be celebrating 79 years, since its creation by Joe and Ben Weider, in 1946.
Since its creation, the IFBB has become the biggest amateur bodybuilding and fitness federation in the world, and it’s the most respected federation in the world, headed by Ben Weider’s successor, IFBB President Dr. Rafael Santonja.
This edition of the IFB World Championships will be the 66th edition, making it one of the oldest and most prestigious amateur bodybuilding events in the history of the sport.
Some of the best bodybuilders to have ever graced the bodybuilding stage competed at this prestigious event. The same bodybuilders eventually had very successful bodybuilding careers.
The event is organized all over the world, with the 2025 edition taking place in Khobar, Saudi Arabia, confirming that the IFBB is successful all over the world.
The event will take place between 27 November and 1 December, spreading the event over the entire week. It’s expected that over 1,000 athletes will participate in this event.
During the week-long activities, the IFBB will also be organizing the important World Congress, discussing everything related to the sport of bodybuilding, and voting democratically on new rules and events.
