Shawn Rhoden confirms he will not compete at the 2020 Mr. Olympia.
2018 Mr. Olympia Shawn Rhodens has confirmed on Jay Cutler TV that he will NOT be competing at the 2020 Mr. Olympia.
After a year of teasing the bodybuilding world and media, Shawn has finally put a end to all the rumors and speculation.
When asked about his plans for the 2020 Mr. Olympia, Shawn said that there is a process that has to be finalized before he can ever step on stage again.
Shawn continued by saying that the next time he steps on stage, he does not want to have anything taking the focus of training at 100%.
At the moment, Shawn’s only focus is on his partner Lauralie, he is helping her prep for the Bikini Olympia.
Shawn believes that everything that is going on in his life will eventually be behind him.
Rhoden has continued to focus on training with the same intensity as ever, the only difference is that he is not competing.
In the past week, Flex Lewis has also confirmed that he will not be competing at the Mr. Olympia due to injury.
Another big name that will be missing from the Mr. Olympia stage is Big Ramy. It is very unfortunate that a favorite such as Big Ramy did not qualify for this years event.
With Shawn Rhoden, Flex Lewis and Big Ramy out, the focus will be on Brandon Curry and Phil Heath.
