IFBB International E-Contest – Compete from your home.

The coronavirus has devastated the world causing deaths in every country.

The majority of countries have closed all public places including gyms.

All sport activities have been either postponed or cancelled, including bodybuilding and fitness competitions.

Not all is lost, the IFBB under the leadership of President Dr. Rafael Santonja have been hard at work.

A number of prestigious competitions have been rescheduled to take place later in the year.

In the meantime, the IFBB have launched a number of videos giving tips for home training, including a video from the President himself.




The IFBB did not stop by just publishing training videos, they have just launched their first ever IFBB International E-contest.

The IFBB and Muscle & Health Magazine are pleased to present the first IFBB International Contest open for all the IFBB athletes that wish to participate in this initiative, showing their performance, flexing muscles and enjoying the passion for sport and the healthy lifestyle.
The voting will be made by fans and followers who will decide their favourite athletes.

WHO MAY COMPETE?
Any athlete or bodybuilding and fitness enthusiast, member or follower of his/her IFBB National Federation, who has never competed before on any organization or who has not participated since January 2019 in events from other organizations outside the umbrella of IFBB.

REQUIREMENTS FOR PARTICIPATION
The athlete has to fill the application and submit it plus your video at the following link: https://www.ifbb.gbisportinnovation.com/new-licence-blue-passport

The specifications are as follows:

-The athlete should send a photo and a video recorded horizontally with an introduction telling the following: I am (Name) from (Country) and I am participating in the IFBB eContest and followed by the mandatory poses (more details below).
-The video has to show the full body and with a background without elements that may disturb.
– It is not allowed to use oil.
-The athlete must be wearing the posing attire that meets the accepted standards of the IFBB.


CATEGORIES
• Men’s Bodybuilding
Make a short video about 40 seconds, doing the introduction followed by all the mandatory poses (7) plus one more pose of your choice.
• Classic Physique
Make a short video about 40 seconds, doing the introduction followed by 4 quarter turns and all the mandatory poses (7). Remembering that the most important is the vacuum pose.
• Men´s Physique
Make a short video about 30 seconds, doing the introduction followed by I-walk and 4 quarter turns.
• Bikini Fitness
Make a short video about 30 seconds, doing the introduction followed by I-walk and 4 quarter turns.
• Bodyfitness
Make a short video about 30 seconds, doing the introduction followed by I-walk and 4 quarter turns.
• Wellness
Make a short video about 30 seconds, doing the introduction followed by I-walk and 4 quarter turns.
• Women´s Physique
Make a short video about 40 seconds, doing the introduction followed by 4 quarter turns and 4 mandatory poses plus one more pose of your choice.

REGISTRATION TIME: from 13th April to 27th April

REGISTRATION FEE: 30 €

VOTING: from 28th April to 10th May
The voter can give points to a maximum of 5 athletes in the following manner:
1st Place – 5 Points
2nd Place – 4 Points
3rd Place – 3 Points
4th Place – 2 Points
5th Place – 1 Point

AWARDS
Each category will receive an official CERTIFICATE OF PLACE plus the following prize money:
1st place: 250€
2nd place: 150€
3rd place: 100€
